Before starting this, Back-Up your site.
If you have made changes to the stylesheet.css file, you should not use this. Also, if you added modules, in some rare cases they may not work anymore.
You must be comfortable using FTP software to install this module.
The following information will only work on our sites, so please don't go posting this around the internet for other people to use. I have no way to test this on other versions of OSCommerce, so there is no way for me to know if this will work outside our group.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Download and extract the following file. products_multi_2.0.zip. (33.9KB)
(NOTE: This is not the same file that you can download from OSCommerce or the CRELoad website. I've made changes to it.)
Start your FTP software, and log into your site. Your FTP log in information is in the e-mail that you recieved when you first signed up for your site.
I use WS_FTP Pro 9.0. If you would like a copy, it is avalible here. (6.69MB)
Next, you'll need to upload the files from the zip file that you downloaded, up to your website.
Using the FTP software, navigate your way into your Catalog folder (/domains/yourdomain/public_html/catalog).
Upload the stylesheet.css and everything in the admin folder to your site. If you are asked to overwrite anything, click YES.
Below is a screen shot of what you should see before uploading. If you don't see the same folders and files on the right hand side of the screen, don't upload until you do. (NOTE: I have an extra Temp folder, and a Feeds folder that you won't have on your site.)
Next, log into your admin panel. Navigate to Administrator>File Access. Click on Catalog and then the Store Files button. Using the drop down menu on the right hand side of your screem, choose products_multi.php and click the Save button.
Thats it. The Multi Product mover is ready to use.
You will find it in your admin panel under the Catalog heading. |
